Our support service
What our service does (and what it doesn’t do)
The service offered through our associate company Renewable Energy Tariffs Limited is designed to help eligible installations to achieve registration for the RHI with the scheme administrators Ofgem.
What we will do for you
- We help you set up a user account on the Ofgem online system, and authorise us to enter data for you
- We collect from you – or from your installer – the information needed to submit an application
- We upload the details onto Ofgem’s system ready for submission
- We advise you so you can check and submit the application
- We receive and draft responses to any questions that Ofgem raises (there are usually several)
As you can see from this website, we have a good understanding of the RHI regulations. We are therefore acting as specialists in the registration process. We should not be seen as your technical experts; that expertise needs to come from your installers.
What you will need to do
- Set-up your online registration account (we can help), and add us as users
- Provide us with details of your renewable heating system
- Put us in contact with the system installer
- In the case of fuel-burning systems, put us in touch with the main fuel supplier
- Check and submit the final RHI registration application
See further details here.
What your installer will need to do
- If the system is up to 45kW, the installer must be MCS-registered
- Design and install the system so that it meets the eligibility criteria
- Install metering to comply with the requirements
- Provide a single-line-diagram of the system
- Provide us with any other information required
See further details here.
