The consultation, was announced alongside those on the domestic scheme and expansion of the non-domestic scheme, and closes on 18th October 2012.
Main proposals in summary
Air-to-water Heat pumps
The government proposes to support these heat pumps at a tariff of 1.7p/kWh.
It is considering banding support for the technology by installation capacity.
Energy from Waste
The government is considering expanding RHI support to include a wider range of waste feedstocks, using the same eligibility criteria as the Renewables Obligation.
