It proposes paying a Tariff to producers of renewable heat as described in this website. the main aspects are:

• Principles of the scheme
• Eligible technologies
• Proposed tariff levels for those technologies
• Eligibility depending on installation date
• Other eligibility criteria
• Measurement of heat

The design broadly follows that of the Feed-in Tariffs for electricity (FITs), but there are some particular variations for RHI.
